Yesterday I took a trip through my hostel to see the Giant Buddha of Leshan. It was a beautiful place along the Yangzhe river. I took a lot of great pictures and met some really nice people. I spent the day walking around with two women from Spain, a couple from Edmonton Canada and a man named Eric from Holland. Take a look! At the south gate of the walk there were a lot of women selling mala bracelets. I bought two for 7 yuan which is a little over a dollar. It is crazy here, I think they export these to the States and then we mark them up over a 1000% or something. I hope to get a lot of great stuff while I am in Nepal to bring back home!
